About Smartphone

Smartphone is a research destination for mobile phones, gadgets and the financing that goes with them. We catalogue 1,300+ devices and accessories with full specifications and indicative pricing, and pair every product with practical financing context: EMI estimates, live bank rate comparisons, and plain-English guides to loans, credit cards and credit scores.

What we do

Where our numbers come from

Specifications are compiled from manufacturer listings and public retail sources, then normalised into a single format so that two phones from different brands can actually be compared line by line. That normalisation is the useful part and also the fallible part: where a manufacturer does not publish a figure, a comparable one for that class of device is used, so treat individual specifications as indicative rather than as a datasheet. If you spot something wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

Loan and EMI rates in the comparison table come from lenders' own published pages. Banks change these without notice, so each row carries the date it was last checked. An EMI shown next to a product is a flat illustration at a fixed indicative rate — it is arithmetic, not an offer, and no lender has seen your application when that number is printed.

How we stay independent

The site is funded by advertising and by orders placed through it. Anything paid for is labelled "Sponsored". Advertising has no influence over which products appear in the catalogue, how their specifications are recorded, or the rates shown in the comparison table — those are compiled before any commercial consideration and are not adjusted for advertisers.

What we are not

We are not a lender, broker or financial advisor. All EMI figures are illustrative. Loan approval, pricing and terms rest solely with banks and NBFCs. Specifications are compiled from public sources and are indicative — verify with the manufacturer before purchasing.
